STUDENTS POTENTIAL DEVELOPMENT THROUGH THE CLUB PROGRAM
Wellspring Saigon’s elective club program is predicated on the Theory of Multiple Intelligences that suggests learning is enhanced when instruction is provided with a range of meaningful and appropriate methods and activities. Wellspring’s club program allows students to choose a club that they are genuinely interested in, and learning is presented along multiple pathways designed to bolster student confidence and encourage development.
Clubs provide students the means to explore their curiosity and share their passions with others who have similar interests while under the watchful supervision of experienced and well-trained experts and teachers. Wellspring offers a diverse selection of clubs that can open student minds to new experiences in fields ranging from engineering and robotics to journalism, athletics, and art.
SOCIAL AND EMOTIONAL LEARNING PROGRAM
Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) is the process of developing the self-awareness, self- control, and interpersonal skills that are vital for school, work, and life success. Wellspring’s SEL program counselors provide support for student development across five important ‘core competencies’ vital for their role in emotional intelligence development.
MENTAL COUNSELLING PROGRAM
In conjunction with the SEL program, Wellspring Saigon recognizes the broad need to support the mental health of our students and to provide for them confidential advice and support. Our counselling experts are well-educated and regularly update their knowledge in child psychology in order to effectively support the mental development process of students, and help them cope with any problems they may face.
SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH
Scientific research is a subject available for middle and high school education. It is designed with the aim of fostering students’ enjoyment in doing research, to acquire the requisite researching skills, participate in national and international research competitions, gain more experience, and increase their chances of getting college scholarships.
Wellspring Saigon also organize Science Fair for students to encourage scientific exploration and practice among the student community.
